We’re currently seeking a skilled Control Panel Builder on behalf of our client located in Portadown. This position involves the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical control panels designed for industrial and commercial use. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of electrical systems, the ability to read schematics, and a strong awareness of safety standards.
Pay Rate: £16 to £17 Per Hour (Depending on Experience)
Hours Per Week: 38 hours
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Job Duties:
• Reading & Interpreting Schematics: Understanding electrical blueprints to assemble control panels accurately.
• Component Installation: Wiring and fitting components such as switches, transformers, circuit breakers, and motors.
• Testing & Troubleshooting: Ensuring panels function correctly and safely by conducting diagnostic tests.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhering to industry standards and safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
• Collaboration: Working alongside engineers and technicians to meet project specifications.
Job Criteria:
• Electrical Engineering Knowledge: Familiarity with control systems, wiring techniques, and automation technologies.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to assemble, wire, and troubleshoot electrical panels.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring precision in wiring and component placement.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Identifying and resolving electrical faults efficiently.
• Experience: Prior work in electrical assembly, panel building, or automation systems is beneficial.
