Due to our Client's continued success in the global manufacturing market we are seeking an experienced People Advisor/HR Advisor to join their impressive team. Based in South Belfast, our Client is fast paced, well established and well respected as one of the world’s largest employers in their market.

The People Advisor is a new, permanent opportunity and an addition to the existing, busy People Team.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 1pm ( 4 days office and 1 day from home)

Salary: Competitive

Job Duties:

• Work with established HR policies and processes to achieve specified goals

• Resolve queries and provide information on complex processes and related policies

• Deliver complex analyses of HR data, identifying key trends and contributing to the creation of HR insights that enable the diagnosis of business issues, enhancement of employee engagement and/or improvement of business performance

• Provide advice and guidance to managers in developing, documenting and communicating solutions (including disciplinary action) for employee relations cases.

• Support managers at formal hearings

• Participate in formal and informal training and coaching

• Build effective working relationships, delivering high quality professional services

Job Criteria:

• 3rd level qualification

• Minimum of 5+ years general HR experience

• 3+ years of managerial experience, planning and managing resources to delivery strategic objectives

• Proven experience of leading and resolving employee relations cases

• Change management experience

• Experience of working within a fast paced, commercial environment

• Excellent communication and influencing skills, energised, driven and a results focused

• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
