We are seeking Forklift Drivers for our Client based in Newtownabbey. Our client operates from distribution sites throughout the UK, they offer a range of services covering the whole of the UK, Ireland and Europe.
Pay Rate:
Day shift: £11.44 per hour
Night shift: £12.60 per hour
Hours Per Week: 46
Working Hours:
Day shift: Monday to Friday 6am - 4pm
Night shift: Monday to Thursday 11pm - 8/9am, Sunday 10pm-8am
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Job Criteria:
- Valid counterbalance licence
- Previous Experience as a forklift driver
- Must be thorough and pay attention to detail
- Must have patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Job Duties:
- Loading and unloading materials from a variety of vehicles
- Moving pallet-packed materials around the site or storage facility
- Checking loads are secure
- Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Following written instructions and keeping records
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
