Our client, a leading manufacturer of bailing twine, is looking for a number of Production Operatives to join their expanding team in Dromore.
Pay Rate: £11.55 - £13.13 per hour
Hours of work:
Continental 12 hour shifts
7 day shifts spread over two weeks
7 night shifts spread over next two weeks
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Job Duties:
- To carry out a variety of activities within the production process
- Enabling production requirements to be met in the most effective and efficient manner and ensuring orders are met on time.
- Work within the internal quality system ensuring that a high standard of production is maintained through to finished product stage.
- Maintain quality records where required and carry out regular inspection duties.
- Report all deficiencies to the production supervisors.
- Packing finished goods in appropriate storage containers and ensuring goods are properly weighed, labelled, packaged and stored.
Job Criteria:
- Good second level education demonstrating high levels of literacy and numeracy.
- Previous experience in a production orientated environment.
- Previous experience of working in a team.
- Engineering / plastics sector experience would be an advantage.
- Above criteria are only desirable and not essential as full training will be given.
