We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join our Client's team in Newtownabbey. The successful candidate will be applying finishes to metal surfaces and have experience in using various tools and techniques to achieve high-quality powder coating finishes.
Pay rate: £11.50 per hour
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 6am - 4:15pm
Job Type: Temporary to permanent
Job Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking
- Apply powder coating using electrostatic spray guns
- Monitor and adjust equipment settings to ensure proper coating thickness and finish
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
Job Criteria:
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Basic maths skills for measuring and calculating material requirements
- Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of painting techniques and surface preparation
- Ability to weld, fabricate, and assemble metal components
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
