We are seeking Maintenance Technicians for our client, the world's leading provider of wet processing solutions with applications across a wide range of materials within the natural processing and waste recycling sectors.
The Maintenance Technician will oversee and efficiently resolve any engineering issues which may impact productivity schedules. This role involves working to deadlines in a highly pressured, fast moving manufacturing environment.
Pay Rate: £31,000 - £34,900 depending on experience
Hours per week: 40
Working hours:
Week 1 & 2 : Monday to Wednesday 6am - 6.30pm
Week 3: Monday to Thursday 6am - 6.30pm
Job Type: Full time, temporary to permanent positions
Job duties:
- Adhering to company safety policies and procedures at all times
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and correct faults in all Machinery, Services and plant within Facility
- Diagnose and resolve Machine and Facility Breakdowns and issues quickly and efficiently
- Complete and support planned maintenance as required on all plant and machinery.
- Cost effectively source replacement and service parts.
- Identify and Complete Continuous improvement activities in all areas of Facility
- Assist facilities in the implementation of facilities workload and tasks.
- Adhere to the company’s contractor management procedure.
- Work with production team to agree preventative maintenance task.
- Complete and update required maintenance records.
- Maintain target 5s standards for your work area and identify and implement improvements.
- Train operators on SOPs and new equipment
- Carry out all planned, preventative and corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with maintenance plan.
- Perform other job-related duties.
Other:
- To adhere to CDE policy and practices.
- To carry out any other duties within reason and capability associated with this role.
- To be able to work a dayshift shift pattern (3 days per week with every 3rd week working 4 days per week)
Job Criteria:
Essential:
- Time served/ fully qualified technician with relevant industrial experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role, with a proven track record and experience in all aspects of Machinery and Facilities Maintenance
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clearance to work in UK
- Available to work flexible hours
Desirable:
- NVQ level 3 Qualification or equivalent.
- CPC qualified
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role within the Manufacturing/ Engineering industry
