We are seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join Greiner Packaging's team on a permanent basis at their site in Dungannon.
The successful candidate will ensure the safety and general upkeep of electrical equipment including carrying out preventative maintenance, fault-finding and repairs. Assist with mechanical duties including change overs as and when required.
Pay Rate: £48,286 per annum
Working Hours:
Week 1: Tuesday to Thursday 7pm - 7am
Week 2: Monday, Friday - Sunday 7pm - 7am

Job Criteria:
- Recognised apprenticeship qualification (BTEC ONC Level 2 or above in Electrical) served within a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 3 years' experience post completion of apprenticeship
- Prove experience of preventative maintenance
Understanding of electrical control systems and ability to fault find electrical issues
- Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, ability to understand schematics and ability to fault find both process and mechanical issues
Job Duties:
- Electromechanical fault diagnosis and repair
- Assist with mechanical duties e.g. change overs
- A willingness to welcome and participate in CIP in the various procedures within the department
- To perform electrical diagnostics as required
- Update & maintenance of records in accordance with internal systems, ISO9001,ISO14001,BRC etc
- Maintain and update electrical schematics as required
- Facilitate energy reduction plans for shift team and ensure that energy efficiency considerations are factored into daily work
- Any other duties/projects as requested
- Follow standard operating procedures & company procedures for safely operating equipment
- Report unsafe operations, near misses and dangerous occurrence through the near miss reporting system
- Support others to raise near miss reports
- To lead by example in relation to safe working practices
- Participate in Risk Assessments & Safety Audits when required
- Support in the development of Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintain a safe working area
- Participate in health and safety training as required
