We are seeking Joiners for our client, a specialist plastics manufacturer dedicated to serving a wide cross section of industry with bespoke solutions, based in Lisburn.
Pay Rate: £13.75 - £15.35 per hour + Holiday Pay
Job Type: Full time, Temporary to Permanent
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am-2pm
Job Criteria:
- Workshop joinery background \2 years joinery experience
- Flexible and adaptable approach working as part of a small team
- Good communication skills
Job Duties:
- To operate double head mitre saw to cut wood for doorframe preparation.
- To provide assistance in door department cutting, notching, packing, doorframe assembly and door furniture fitting.
- Accurate measurements and cutting to sizes
- Cutting architrave to suit frames, to include pvc, timber and mdf architraves
- Use hand tools router, drills
- Correct fitting of door furniture, namely handles, cylinders, kick plates, acoustic seals
- To make glazing bead cassettes- cut bead to size, fit intumescent, Hoffman joints
- Pallets secure and correct materials used for bracing
- Picking of correct accessories- architraves, closers etc.
