Our client, a soft drinks manufacturer are seeking a Forklift Driver to join their team based in Ballymena.
The role of the Forklift Driver is to assist the lead technical operator by contributing to and implementing site standards to meet the Company’s business needs and deliver safe and high-quality product. You will proactively perform technical and operational duties to ensure customer orders are fulfilled while also ensuring the highest standard of food safety and quality. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all Company procedures and policies are followed on the line, whilst prioritising safety, quality, environmental aspects and efficiency to meet the goals of the company.
Pay Rate: £11.50 Per Hour + Holiday Pay
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
Job Type: Full Time. Temporary to Permanent
Job Duties:
- Loading and off loading materials in a safe and efficient manner and using correct company procedures.
- Comply with responsibilities as laid down in the Group’s Health, Safety & Environment Policy and as explained in Site Health and Safety rules/procedures.
- Assist in keeping a safe environment
Job Criteria:
- Previous experience as a Forklift Driver
- Valid Forklift licence
- Good attention to detail and Excellent coordination
- Good knowledge of industrial equipment
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
