We are seeking a Permanent Electrician for our client in Newtownabbey, the world's leading provider of wet processing solutions with applications across a wide range of materials within the natural processing and waste recycling sectors.
The Electrician will meet project deadlines and ensure that the quality of the installations are completed to a high standard.
Pay Rate: To be discussed
Hours Per Week: Average 40 hours per week
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 5pm and Friday 7.30am – 12.15pm.

Job Essential Criteria:
- Fully Qualified Electrician
- GCSE English and Maths grade C or higher
- Experience of working with SWA cables
- Experience of 3 phase supply and working with live panels
- Experience of PLC programming
- Well organised
- Good interpersonal skills
- The ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work unsupervised and plan own workload
- Assertive
- Committed to H & S
- Dependable and reliable
- Enthusiastic, energetic self-starter able to work on own initiative
- Available to work flexible hours
Desirable:
- Testing and fault finding within control panels
- Experience of PLC programming
- Good manufacturing processes awareness
- Full clean driving licence
Job Duties:
- Ensuring projects are electrically progressed as per Production schedules
- Ability to prioritise and manage allocated work
- Ensure all works are carried out to the highest of standards including tidy wiring and swarf removal, instil a culture of high quality workmanship.
- Complete test inspection process on the pre-wiring cabling and ensure control panels are fully tested prior to despatch
- Ensure all works are carried out in a safe manner and with full H & S compliance
- Apply the minimum quality and environmental standards required under ISO 9001 and 14001 and the company Quality and Environmental standards
General:
Applicants are expected to be flexible and to undertake other appropriate duties and occasional work at weekends, evenings and public holidays. Applicants must have access to an appropriate method of transport to enable them to fulfil the needs of the post.
