Our client in Kells are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operative with a Valid Forklift license to join their team. The ideal candidate will work both in the Kells and Antrim site and will be responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of goods within the warehouse, ensuring timely processing and delivery to meet customer expectations.
Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour
Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5:30pm and Friday 8:30am – 1pm
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Job Criteria:
- Valid Forklift license
- Must have own transport to travel between sites
- Previous experience working within a warehouse environment
- Must be able to work individually as well as in team
- Good Communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing.
Job Duties:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels within the warehouse.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure product integrity.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space.
- Comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Any other duties deemed reasonable
